I highly recommend that you take lessons out of state with a qualified instructor that is certified to teach. You will learn far more if you do, and there are many locations that are on the west coast as well as the gulf of Mexico with amazing schools and great instructors. You will learn far more in these lessons and it will be much easier than learning in Utah. I wish you the best of luck and feel free to call me with any question.
