Thanks to more than a week of days with highs approaching 50, there is a substantial stretch of open water at the northern end of DC, and today there was finally some decent wind. The water level is still quite low, so getting to open water involves wading out through about 30 yards of vegetation. Definitely worth it, though, as the wind was pretty steady and strong enough for me to be able to plane most of the time. A great season opener and by far the earliest I ever for me!

Hi Martee

When did you check it out? The biggest fin I run in 19cm, so if you can kite I should be able to sail. :)))

AlI I have is an MMS photo Jason took and it looks small which make me think shallow.
