Out of interest- where do you kite? I'm from Maryland but I didn't take up kiting until I moved out here.

Brad, that looks to be Assateague National Seashores to me. It works mostly only on east wind. Dewey Beach in Delaware is also a popular location for kiting on east wind. Rehoboth Bay (almost like Cape Hatteras, except with dirtier water) is probably the most popular kiting location in Maryland/Delaware/DC area.

Brad, if you ever come back to Md. , Let me know and I'll point you the right direction. Places all over the Chesapeake and Beaches . Do you kite mostly twin tip flat water, surf style?

Dean,

Yep. Mainly twin tip, flat water. Also my parents house is in Columbia area so places on the bay would be ideal because the ocean is a bit of a drive. I imagine there could be some decent river spots as well...
