I rode that 'rodeo' at skyline th 14th. Very very gusty, kinda spooky, yet I still rode for 4.5 hrs. I am i town on vacation so I take what I can get!
Rode my 12m manta on the ridge (overlook?) from 1-4pm and was juiced. Was afraid to put kite overhead for fear of randomly getting lofted. Tons of downlooping transitions, kept tricks low and kite in low in front of me. Things settled a bit roundabout 4 so went to bosco and rode the 15m in lower terrain with softer snow til near sunset.
There were only 3 other kites up, 9-12m.
